Kopparhusen Norrköping- Heating combined with Connect
Kopparhusen is a new landmark in the industrial landscape of Norrköping, where SEFAB is working on a development project with a total construction area of 17,000 square metres. A tight drying-out schedule and the need to control and manage heating meant that the heating equipment used during construction had to meet strict requirements. El-Björn was able to meet these requirements thanks to our district heating substations, hot water fan heaters and our digital service – El-Björn Connect.
Helsinki Motor Boat Club- Installation of Alfa II
Helsinki Motor Boat Club is one of Finland’s largest boat clubs, with its home harbour in the heart of Helsinki. When the club renovated its wharfs, it chose to install Alfa II power poles from El-Björn. Renta, the project’s electricity contractor, is particularly delighted with how easy the poles were to install.
Yara in Köping- Installation of Aurora
One relatively new business area for El-Björn is the supply of equipment for permanent installations. Temporary power, lighting and climate equipment has proved to be a valuable alternative to permanent installations where the flexibility of standardised solutions and a wide product range offer cost-effective solutions.
Telakkaranta in Helsinki- TFUC district heating substation
At the Telakkaranta construction site in Helsinki, a decision was made to shun traditional, mobile, electric and oil-heated solutions and instead utilise the existing pipe system for district heating and district cooling. According to Skanska, the chosen solution, which was planned and delivered in partnership between El-Björn and Skanska Konevuokraus, has proved to work very well.
Järvenpään Loiste- BOJ LW
YIT Suomi Oy was seeking an alternative to large fluorescent workplace lights. At the same time, they wanted the solution to be energy-effective more hard-wearing. When we asked them to compare El-Björn’s BOJ LW with construction site lighting they had used previously, they chose El-Björn. They were also delighted with the the light’s size and portability.
Sylarna Mountain Station- Drying rooms 1,000 metres above sea level
In early 2019, STF Sylarna Mountain Station, located in western Jämtland in Sweden 1,035 metres above sea level, upgraded its two drying rooms by installing new dehumidifiers from El-Björn. This resulted in energy-efficient drying rooms and a gentle drying process.
